About Ashlyn

(Bad picture of me... I look older since that pic is about a year old and I have new glasses!)

My name is Ashlyn. Ashlyn Nicole. I am saved; blood bought and reedemed, living in the family of God. I love Jesus, He's my Savior, and I want to grow closer to him everyday. I am not perfect- I am not extremely faithful in reading the Bible and prayer, I miss often. There's days I get up and the first thing I do is not what I should do. Yet, the LORD isn't finished with me. He's still working on me, to make me what I ought to be!
I am the oldest of soon-to-be-seven-this-september, and I am homeschooled. I love being homeschooled; it allows me to focus more on things that I love. For Instance, I love History and Writing, and I spend a lot of time with that. Another advantage that homeschooling has brought me is that I don't spend  eight hours in a schoolroom everyday. I can get everything done right now in 2-3 hours; which leaves me to pursue my other interests. My mom is not a strict homeschooler, meaning that she does not force this amount of this and this amount of that everyday. There'll be days where we don't do one subject but we'll do it the next. We kinda work through the summer, but we'll take the whole month of December off. This September will be haphazard as well, with number seven arriving. Another thing I love about homeschooling is that there is NO peer pressure!
(Off of homeshooling now...let's move on!)
My mom and dad's names are Rowdy and Leah.
My sibings are:
Olivia, age ten.
Elizabeth, age seven.
Sarah, age five. (adopted, they aren't twins)
Daniel, age five.
Julia, almost 3.

There is also our cat, Meowy, and our two dogs, The Annoying Sheeba and the Lovable Lily.=D

My close friends are (they all live out of state!='''C)
Alexa M.
Jordan V. (my super duper cuz)
Adrienne N. (co-author)

I have only seen two of them twice. Jordan recently moved. But they are the awesomest friends ever and I love them!

My Interests include
=playing the piano=photography=writing=history=politics=reading=card-making=baking=cooking=
and...lots more.

Here's a little more info about my interests...
=playing the piano= I am at (I guess!) an Early Advanced level...I hope to start teaching this summer/fall.
=photography= I love it! Visit my full fledge photography blog @ www.photographybyashlyn.blogspot.com
=writing= I hope to write clean, no dating spirit, adventurous novels for teenage girls someday.
=history= Many thanks to my grandpa for instilling in me a love for history. He has been a blessing in my life in many ways, this is a big one. He taught history for 30 some years at many schools, and he knows a lot. He's not the average History teacher. He makes it come alive. He explains a lot, telling why this happened and the result, what they could have done better...etc. He knows exact dates. He tells history in such a way that you are hanging on to your seat, spellbound, because of how interesting it is. Thanks, Grandpa.
=politics= Ooh boy, love 'em. Just to let you know straight off, I am a Reagan Conservative. Repeat, Reagan Conservative. I believe our nation was founded on Christianity. I believe we should support Israel 100%. I believe that Abortion is Murder. It's not Woman's Rights! We are murdering babies left and right, millions and millions, in gruesome ways, every day, leaving the woman feeling destitute and worthless. Yet we worry about how many trees are in the jungle- the koala bear might become extinct if we don't do something Quick! Seriously. Ok, just to let you know, I shouldn't be sarcastic about this. It's NOT a laughing matter. I hate, God hates it, and if you love life, you should hate it too. I am going to do all I can in my life to help end abortion. Yes. I have cried before on this matter. Some days, I'll be thinking about it in the evening, in bed, and I'll just start crying. How long will God have mercy on our country? Someday, Planned Parenthood, and all your affiliates,  you are going to stand before God and be judged. You will be accounted for all the babies that have died, in a merciless, cold, way and for the sake of Woman's Rights. It's inconvenient to have a baby? Alright, so you are going to kill your baby? You are going to commit murder, merely because you really don't want to care for it? Warning you, Romans 12:19 b says, "Vengeance  is mine; I will repay, saith the LORD."
Let's get off of that! I also believe that there should be marriage between one MAN and one WOMAN. That's it. God sent fire and brimstone to Sodom and Gomorrah, home of perhaps several million people, and destroyed them.
I also believe that we need to show just a little more fiscal responsibility, AMEN? Let me say that again!

My goals in life are to be a writer in two areas, the one above, and then a writer for political issues. I want to be a political activist, in some way, shape or form. Abortion will be my strong point!
I want to be a photographer! as a side business!
But above all, I want to be a wife to a godly husband, who is being prepared for me right now by God, more than likely I don't know him. Hopefully. I pray for him, I pray for his spritual, physical, and moral life. I'll wait until he comes and sweeps me off my feet, but until then, I'm not kissing frogs! I'm waiting for him, staying pure, and loving God until he comes. Next of all I want to be a mommy, after I'm a wife! As many children as God leads, and I want to raise them to be mighty in spirit so that they can do great and mighty things which the world knoweth not.
